Welcome to Seasons Psychotherapy!

Reaching out for help takes a lot of courage, so we appreciate you being here.  Life can be very difficult and suffering is a part of our human experience, but you don’t have to go through it alone. Therapy can provide you with the support you may need to explore your human experience; your feelings, thoughts, sensations, behaviours and relationships. Our intention as therapists at Seasons is to provide you with a safe space, grounded in acceptance, compassion, and connection, to share your story and travel through it to find the meaning and strength that you need to move forward.

Please take some time to read through our site, so you can meet our team of therapists, read about our approaches, and explore the services that we offer.  Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns you may have.  Visit the "Contact" page for the link to book an appointment.

If you are currently in crisis, you can find resources for immediate support on the "Helpful Links" page.

Thank you for being here.

"Loving ourselves through the process of owning our story is the bravest thing we will ever do."
~ Brené Brown

Seasons Psychotherapy was created on lands that the Michi Saagiig Anishinaabeg inhabited for thousands of years prior to European colonization.  These lands are the traditional territories of the Nations included in the Williams Treaties, including the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation, Alderville First Nation, Hiawatha First Nation, Curve Lake First Nation, and the Chippewa Nations of Georgina Island, Beausoleil and Rama.  Associate and Intern Therapists at Seasons Psychotherapy are spread across what we now call Canada, on lands that have been occupied and cared for by First Nations, Métis, and Inuit people for millennia.  We recognize these as lands stolen and violated through horrendous acts of colonization.

We honour, recognize, and respect Indigenous Peoples as rights holders, wisdom-keepers, and stewards of the lands and waters on which we have the privilege to live.  We are committed to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Calls to Action.  We are committed to learning from and through Indigenous values and knowledge.  We are commit to embracing the healing traditions and ways of the ancestors and the natural world, and weaving them into our caring practices.
